Here come the video Pro Days

YANKEE28 : 3/28/2020 8:46 pm
This year will certainly be difficult with the lack of Pro Days and Top 30 visits prior to the draft.

A replacement that has surfaced has been that trainers and agents are having their draft eligible clients in and filming Pro Days. The videos are then sent to NFL teams.

Once such player is Georgia TE Eli Wolf. Here are Wolf's Pro Day numbers:

Ht 6' 4 1/2 "
Wt 245 pounds
40 4.43
Bench 23
Shuttle 4.06
Vertical 35 inches
3 cone 6.72
Broad Jump 10 feet

These are incredible numbers and would have been near the top of any TE at the Combine. Wolf was not an invitee.

I have to believe that these agents, trainers, and the players themselves are honorable, but boy is it going to be tough for NFL teams to rely-even partially-on this type of player analysis.

Are agents sending the video to all 32 teams? Or just teams a player might want to sign? Is there a competitive advantage with any team? I am sure there are even more questions.

But this is the reality of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Take a look

at Eli Wolf running his forty.

Clearly a tough way to do an analysis.

Perhaps the NFL teams are getting a better view and angle of the testing.
