I still say that her past/youth will come into greater focus as the season continues, and it'll reveal the reasons behind her descent.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that incident (walking home alone w/ cello) portrayed at the beginning of last episode. I believe that either she meets a tragic end because she trusted Jimmy too much, or that we will find out that she has her own closet full of skeletons, and Jimmy unwittingly tapped into them.

They already told us she is from Nebraska but their decision to remind us of this last week when showing the Nebraska plates was no accident. And what an amazing coincidence Gene (Jimmy/Saul) just so happens to be in Nebraska. I bet Kim leaves NM at some point to return home and they'll meetup in the final season, season 6. Wouldn't even surprise me if Kim plays a role in solving the problem that was setup at the start of season 5 for Gene (Jimmy/Saul).

Still hoping to see why Howard Hamlin wants to recruit Jimmy (Saul) for HHM. Jimmy smells a rat, but there's no indication what that rat is.
Also, interested in seeing how they continue to define Gus Fring and his hatred for the Salamanca's. We know that his 'friend' Maximino was his partner in the chicken business (Los Pollos Hermanos) and was murdered by Hector Salamanca. I wonder if there is more to this 'partnership' NTTAWWT?

and I'm not the least bit surprised "Better Call Saul" became a hit show. What a great character. Look forward to catching up on it in the near future.
