Good against the run. I think BBI is mostly underrating his coverage skills. He doesnt appear to be the liability there that these schmucks around here would have you believe, but not knowing what they are talking about has never stopped them from running their yaps.
Martinez appears to be a smart, steady, durable player that can be part of a very good defense. He is one piece of the puzzle, and a good pickup imv.
underrated signings that adds so much more than face value when all is said and done. I hope he can make an Antonio Pierce-like impact both in playing and in getting others in the right position to make plays.

People don’t really say he sucks but question the contract. He’s an average LB being paid substantially more than average LB compensation and plays a relatively commoditized position.
second in the NFL in tackles last year. He has more tackles than any other player in the NFL over the past 2 years and also over the past 3 years. I don't know if he's great, but this makes him a lot better than mediocre.
