in that game. Probably the thing I remember about Tim Carter as a Giant.

He was called for a game killing PI but it was an awful call.
Antoine Bethea in the Colts secondary

Holy Crap, I knew that guy was an older vet, but I guess I didnt realize he went back THAT far:).
Ton of talent on offense.

Would’ve been nice to see Prime Eli with that group, as opposed to Young Eli.

Thats what I was thinking when the lineups were introduced....this team went 8-8. Obviously, greater things were to come not far down the road.

The problem was he raised his arm like a chicken wing he was cutting on his route. Everyone could see what he was doing.
I miss watching competent football.

An actual running game behind a competent OL. A TE that isn't afraid of contact. I'm watching this shedding a tear at how awful we have become.
That was such a gorgeous pass to Shockey for the TD

Perfect placement by Eli
This team is light years better than the current squad
Ben in Tampa : 3/30/2020 8:44 pm : link
But damn are they frustrating to watch. They really killed themselves over and over in this game.
A younger Walt Anderson

looked like he was sucking lemons even back then.

I found myself sitting here getting upset about all the stupid mistakes.....forgetting for a moment or two that the damn game is 14 years old:)
It is sad to watch

seeing the level of talent on that Giants team compared to where we are now. It's as if the current Giants aren't in the same league.

That last play with Brandon Jacobs pounding his way in for the TD and emotion afterwards is a thing of beauty.

We won 2 Super Bowls under Coughlin and when I rewatch many of the games... it’s glaring how much better we could have been! I guess it’s all relative... maybe this was as good as it gets but I really feel like 2008 was the clear example of how good we should have been from 2006-2010.

That was a terrible call. Giants we're on the verge of driving for a game winning FG and that call killed it. I also remember the Giants dropping two easy interceptions early in that game that would have killed Colts drives
in that game. Probably the thing I remember about Tim Carter as a Giant.

Head's up for those that tuned last night.

Tonight's second game will be Giants at Cowboys in 2009 when Eli signed the lockerroom column with the opening win in the new stadium.
the Carter

penalty is the first thing that I think of with this game. Refs miss calls all the time, but when a ref invents a call, that's next level awfulness.
