Been watching Giants 2011, through game 5 so far, horrible loss to Seahawks at home. I was at the game. Penalties, turnovers, etc. Cruz continues his emergence, makes circus catch for 78 yd TD. Defense lets backup QB Charlie Whitehurst take Seahawks down the field in a heartbeat to retake the lead. Eli brings the Giants down the field, classic 2-minute drill. First down at Seahawks 10, minute to play. Cruz lets a ball bounce off his hands goes right to 'hawks DB who takes it 90 yds to the house.
That defense was awful. No MLB (Greg Robinson, Herzlich), tackling sucked. No running game. Looking back, at that point, you would have been nuts to even dream about how the season ended.
