that game could have been a blowout. We were up 9-3 and driving for a score. Wilford even admitted as much mic'ed up.
Yep, and when the Pats went up 17-9 I had without a doubt my biggest ref meltdown I’ve ever had in my life because of that call. I thought it cost us the superbowl.

A few days ago. I thought now I remember what great football looks like. Just a great, well played game. This game nowhere near the same level. Still fun to watch, but sloppy.
For instance.....Until they showed Antrel Rolle down toward the end of the game, I forgot he was one of our safeties at that time and remembered they played him more at slot CB. In fact, the DL was so dominant, the CB's names weren't called much at all.
That holding call and the non-PI call on Manningham were both aggregious!
That non-catch by Welker was the true turning point!
I can't stop watching that pass by Eli and catch by Manningham down the sideline. What made it greater was it was right in front of Bill and he still had to challenge it.
Bradshaw & Jacobs. What a combo. Powerful, violent runners!
Nicks! That guy was the boss which is amazing because you still had Cruz and Mario!
God I loved that team!
I still can’t believe the Patriots got the ball back
