I just read yesterday he was improving.
Loved Radiation Vibe, Sink to the Bottom, and Leave the Biker - way before Stacys mom - also awesome.
Fountains of "Wayne" is a reference to Wayne, NJ.
I wonder if he had any other medical issues, or if it was just coronavirus.

he wrote That Thing You Do .
He produced the monkeys last record Good Times
He wrote cry baby broadway show
he co wrote many of the songs on Crazy Ex Girlfriend ..

youtube link below. Stacy's Mom was definitely a better video and more well known, but Radiation Vibe and their whole self titled debut album was the best. Weezer-esque (similar time frame too) - in case anyone hasn't heard it before.
I definitely wore out this CD in college.
