Not sure why it was un-pinned but if possible, can it be re-pinned? I think I speak for alot of us on how helpful that thread has become and can be helpful for others who haven't posted in it or seen it yet. Thank you.
There's zero possibility of it falling off the first page anytime soon. Are there really any BBIers who don't have their default sort on "last post"?
While you're right, I think we know from experience that some are pretty bad at finding threads even when they're right there on the first page, and start repetitive ones instead.

I've been on this site for a decade and I never knew that was possible. Mind blown.
It always amazes me what seems obvious to most is newly learned by others. I mentioned using CTRL F function to find one's handle on extensive threads so one knows where they left off. And people chimed in that they never knew that was possible.

How would you do this on an iPad.
There is a Smart Search Bar in Safari. I don't have an Apple product to test it on so I googled it for you.
Code:
How to search the text on a specific web page using the Smart Search bar
Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
Open a web page in Safari.
Tap the Smart Search bar.
Type the word or phrase that you want to find on the page.
Tap the word or phrase under On this Page.
i'd really love the know the thought process for not pinning it

You're not allowed to get any credit for CRTL+F until Torrag starts using the Reply feature.

I tried with Doomster and his inability to quote/reply. He quit BBI so indirectly we all win. Torrag has been asked and it has been explained to him the disadvantages for replying the way he insists. Yet, he still persists. Not a battle, I wish to engage in. I just don't read any of his responses.
RE: i'd really love the know the thought process for not pinning it
This is literally the first post in the now unpinned thread.

So we requesting that instead of starting new threads on COVID-19, you post updates, personal observations, and discussion within our pinned daily thread. The other existing threads will be locked and kept for a few days as pre-existing resources for information.
the daily relevance of covid-19 certainly hasn't gone away yet and like clockwork the day they unpin there have been a few extra stray covid-19 posts.
They pinned the "BBI Corona Season" in prime real estate today, did they think this thread took away from that one or something? Is there a rule only 1 corona themed thread pinned at time?
Lol, got a good chuckle.
lol!
Perfect...

Lmao
A mystery, like how certain threads are preserved by removing offensive posts whilst other useful threads are nuked totally.
