Salomone Giants.com:

LB Kyler Fackrell is on a conference call. He said obviously it wasn't "ideal" getting less playing time a year after having double-digit sacks. He said he still took a step forward this past season.

Kyler Fackrell on DC Patrick Graham, who overlapped with him in Green Bay: "I know that he liked my versatility" with the ability to rush and drop. "He's a really sharp dude."

Kyler Fackrell: "I love to rush, and I think I'm good at it." He also takes pride in dropping.

Kyler Fackrell on reuniting with Blake Martinez: "I'm thrilled, honestly." They were roommates during camp with the Packers. He said Martinez is very good at controlling everything on defense.

RV SNY:

New Giants LB Kyler Fackrell: "I played better (in 2019) than I did the year before (when he had 10 1/2 sacks), despite not getting the numbers I would like. I think I had 200 less rushes, but I ended up with more pressures. As a player, I think I took a step forward.”

Giants LB Kyler Fackrell: "Obviously I have the utmost confidence in myself. I think I’m a very versatile outside linebacker. I love to rush and I think I’m good at it. I take a lot of pride in dropping and making plays in space as well.”

Rock Newsday:

Kyler Fackrell: "I'm excited to come into the situation the Giants are in."

Fackrell: "I know that I didn't produce the way I wanted to last year but I think I have a great opportunity to do that this year."

Schwartz NYP:

Kyler Fackrell on Patrick Graham (his LB coach in 2018 with Packers): "I know he liked my versatilty, being able to rush and drop.''

Fackrell on Patrick Graham: "He's a really sharp dude.''

Fackrell: "I believe I'm better than a one-sack guy. I'll be a better player this coming year.''

Stapleton The Record:

Kyler Fackrell says he believes he took a step forward last season despite "obviously not ideal" circumstances playing behidn the Smiths after his breakout season of 10.5 sacks in 2018

#Giants Fackrell - strongly admires Graham's passion and love for football....respect for him was a big reason to come to the Giants

#Giants Fackrell - sees himself as a versatile 3-4 OLB....loves to rush but also takes a lot of pride in dropping and playing in space

#Giants Fackrell on Martinez - thrilled to be teammates again....was a roommate with him for a time in GBay

#Giants Fackrell - says the versatility of him and martinez and who is blitzing can do a lot to confuse QBs

Best thing about 3-4

It's not unreasonable to expect double digit sacks out guys like Fackrell and Golden.

Salamone Giants.com:

Kyler Fackrell said the familiarity of DC Patrick Graham and the experience as a 3-4 outside linebacker were factors in coming to the Giants.

Kyler Fackrell said the league is trending toward recognizing pressures and not just sacks. "Ideally, those things would go hand in hand."

#Giants Fackrell - "i think pressures are a big thing ... and the league is kind of trending toward recognizing that"...explains rushers are move valuable when you can get a QB off his spot consistently

Duggan The Athletic:

Fackrell, speaking Joe Judge's language, emphasized his versatility. Says he's a 3-4 SAM linebacker who can rush the passer and drop into coverage.

Kyler Facrkell stated the obvious: "Not ideal" that the Packers signed two big money edge rushers last offseason after his 10.5-sack season in 2018. Facrkell played 200 fewer snaps last season and recorded just 1 sack. But he said got better, pointed to improved pressure rate.
I have always liked Fackrell when watching Green Bay

He is a solid football player. I would still like a number 1 edge guy though.
