Salomone Giants.com:
OT Cam Fleming is on a conference call. He said his relationship with OC Jason Garrett and OL coach Marc Colombo played a big factor.
Cam Fleming said what makes the Cowboys OL so good is the mentality. "You feel more weight on your back" as an offensive lineman there. He hopes to bring that to the Giants.
Cam Fleming said he likes playing for OL coach Marc Colombo because he really loves what he does. He comes in with so much energy. "I appreciate his passion and electricity everyday." On top of that, he's a "damn good coach."
Cam Fleming doesn't remember much of Coach Judge from their New England days because he was such a young player at the time. But he does know he brings a lot of intensity.
Rock Newsday:
Cam Fleming: "The offensive linemen were revered" in Dallas under Garrett and OL coach Colombo (both now with NYG). "Hopefully we bring that there and we can carry a whole bunch of weight for the Giants as well."
Fleming: "We want to form our own identity as the Giants and build success. We don't want to copy what they did in Dallas."
Schwartz NYP:
Cam Fleming on new Giants OL coach Marc Colombo: "He comes in with so much energy and so much juice every day. He's a damn good coach.'
Cam Fleming spent 4 years in New England when Joe Judge ran the Patriots special teams. "He's a really great dude, brings a lot of intensity.''
