probably had a chance to do more research on him and his mom and after dealing with Antonio Brown's bullshit, realized he'd better off just pass on him. As I said when he first signed there, I hope he's stashed his money away, because it seems like his mother and some other family members have been spending it. I wouldn't be shocked if he's out of the league by next year (if not this one).
Randall has shown some immaturity but is decent at a position the NYG need to badly fill soon.
His head coach in Cleveland who he clashed with is currently our TE Coach so I doubt Randall was ever a target. The one UFA who I would not mind if the terms are reasonable is Tavon Wilson, a S previously with Detroit.

Good point on the Kitchens link...I forgot we picked up all these former head coaches!
Wilson could work as I recall hearing he had a pretty decent year last season with Detroit. At 30 years old at least he isn't too old.
I didn't think this was that deep of a draft at Safety and I don't see how NYG can afford to use an early pick on one either. We are kind of desperate at this position imv.
He's really a net negative. He landed in a perfect spot in NO, surrounded by former Buckeyes, and even there, he was a poor DB and ended up getting benched.
I had heard him talk of returning to Nigeria to assume the role of chief, but I cannot find anything about him retiring.
He did have this quote:
Quote:
Amukamara noted that in recent years, the NFL has seen talented players retire earlier than expected. This was before Rob Gronkowski (29), Doug Baldwin (30), and Luck all decided to retire.
"Look at Calvin Johnson, right? He was still in his prime. Look at Patrick Willis. Makes you think, if those guys can hang it up, why not go ahead and do that. I have plans in Nigeria to impact change" Amukamara said. "Even on the [49ers], if you remember Chris Borland ... He was supposed to be the guy since Patrick Willis left. I remember when we played against him when I was with New York, he picked us off twice, and I'm thinking, 'Wow this guy's about to be a player,' and then, come offseason, he's like, 'Yeah...'"
I saw the interview where he discussed returning to Nigeria.
(I had no idea that he is an actual prince). Can you imagine returning to Nigeria to assume the role as tribal chief with the stack of cash he is sitting on? Talk about living like a king.
But this is a win for the Raiders. They dodged a bullet with Apple and that mother of his.

I'd rather offer a prove it deal to Prince Amukamara.

I could live with that as a fan.
I missed that. I knew he was released from Chicago.

Fats - do you have a link that says Prince retired. After reading your comment, I went a Googling and can't find anything that says he retired.
