I don't exactly know why, but I love the #54 for a middle linebacker. This, in and of itself, tells me Martinez is the goods.

In light of this, I just reread Gettleman’s Dec 31 paragraph on the OL. With the news about Halapio departure, my reading is that the relevant sentence was so garbled, it defies interpretation. DG is really not articulate at all.
