Dion Lewis’ deal is for one year and $1.55 million. There are no guarantees. Lewis has $450K of that available from a 48-man per game roster bonus. This is a no-risk deal for the Giants.
at first i didn't like the signing because i don't think he has much left as a player. but at a contract with those terms, nothing not to like about this
Since it’s a no risk signing, does this mean the end of Gallman?
I think they will both be competing with a Day 3 draftee for the roster spots behind Barkley. Lewis might be a veteran and he is used to the system that Judge is likely to want to install, but the fact that there is no guaranteed money seems to indicate that if he looks like he is shot the Giants will move on.
What’s not to like? This team had Jon Hilliman starting in a critical game. RBs get banged up, and nobody knows what sort of toll camp and preseason might take this year, with limited offseason prep.

You remind me of a former poster named Jimmy Googs.
