Can you please re-pin the covid 19 thread? Or is there a good reason not to have it pinned that I missed? Thanks, it’s been a very informative thread and is a lot easier to come back and find knowing it’s pinned.

There are many posters that do not want the virus issues constantly in their face, so as a compromise we unpinned it so it was not one of the first things you have to look at when you are on the football page.
Not sure why this is a problem - it's importance has kept it up or near the top, and we have not removed it.

Why didn't you just answer this instead of deleting the other thread. You could have saved yourself several of these threads...
This +100000000%, the thinking on this site can be soooo backwards at times. Having to delete every Covid thread as opposed to just leaving the original one pinned seems like loads of fun.

You do realize that you can filter out all NFT threads if you desired to. That's actually the entire point of having a strict NFT policy when starting threads. It's for those who want to just exclusively enjoy the football aspect of the forum and don't wish be exposed to threads on any other topic. That's why it has never bother me when they enforce the policy even though at first glance it may seem a little over the top. It's just basic respect for those fans like yourself that don't want to have to weed through a lot of other topics looking for football threads which are being pushed off the first page. I don't mind the NFT's but I certainly get why some do.
Just filter for football threads only and enjoy your "sanctuary" (grin)

We've been deleting every thread that is marked Covid , virus or covid 19 or that is virus related.
