I don't know how realistic this is. There may be better options and some of these guys may be gone when we pick but it's a great haul. 4 OL, 2 EDGE, 1 OLB, 2 WR, 1 RB with return possibilities. I'd go for that.
I'd be fine with that draft, it will be interesting to see if any decent edge rushers are available in the 2nd round(Matos, Uche, or Baun). Maybe a linebacker in there too.
Seriously, he knows roughly as much about the prospects - and the team’s intentions - as the average BBI poster.
So, on behalf of all the other average BBI posters out there, here’s my equally-uninformed Fanspeak mock:
004: R1P04 LB ISAIAH SIMMONS CLEMSON
036: R2P04 LB KENNETH MURRAY OKLAHOMA
099: R3P35 C TYLER BIADASZ WISCONSIN
110: R4P04 S JEREMY CHINN SOUTHERN ILLINOIS
150: R5P04 TE COLBY PARKINSON STANFORD
183: R6P04 CB JOSIAH SCOTT MICHIGAN STATE
218: R7P04 OT TYRE PHILLIPS MISSISSIPPI STATE
238: R7P24 WR AARON FULLER WASHINGTON
247: R7P33 RB RICO DOWDLE SOUTH CAROLINA
255: R7P41 EDGE OLUWOLE BETIKU ILLINOIS
I actually have a question about this unlikely combination of picks: If the Giants were to take Simmons at #4, and Murray were still on the board at #36, would it make sense to take him? Are their skills too duplicative? My thinking was that Simmons will move all over the place, so he doesn’t preclude an ILB at #36 if that’s how BPA plays out. Also, Martinez and Mayo are plodders, and Connelly is a 5th round pick coming off an ACL, so he shouldn’t really influence draft strategy. Am I allocating too many resource to a position that isn’t a top need?
By the way, I really would prefer an OT as the first pick, which does point to trading down a few spots. And yes, I know Biadasz at #99 is probably a fantasy. Tell it to the simulator.
All hype from those fixated on drafting OL way too early for their skill set. This happened when we were looking for a QB not long ago, Their target then is on his way out of football shortly. Young, Simmons and Okudah should be our pick at #4 or trade down.

Hennessy, who weighed in at over 300 pounds, got off to a great start at the Senior Bowl. He looked much stronger and more physically imposing than I expected, and it showed on the practice field. He got after defensive tackles all week long in the one-on-one pass protection drills. Hennessy's bread and butter is that he's built low to the ground with natural leverage, combining that with his excellent lateral agility to mirror athletic pass rushers. He was dominant in that regard, but what surprised me most was his ability to fight power with power in the one-on-one reps. The biggest concern I had on his tape was his play strength, but there were times in practice where he overwhelmed defenders with his punch and finish.
All three of them are projected to go before the Giants pick in the spots Ralph has them. It's easy to put together a great mock draft when you don't pay attention to projections.
What's the over-under on how many of Ralph's picks...
McKinney duplicates Peppers, he isn't a FS.
Hennessey is light in the pants. While a decent player I don't think he fits the profile we trend to. I doubt he's a Giant when the Draft is over.
The two LB's he picks are good prospect but I see them off the board in those slots.
His best pick for value is Lavert Hill who profiles as a twitchy slot CB that's a need.
The late round stuff who knows.
For picks, value/need sync and unrealistic availability I give him a C-.
Pretty bad attempt.
The good news is he'll login into his dupe account and get some good feedback from the membership and his next try should be better.
That was his previous pick at #4.

Dude, you've been on the BBI Mock Draft clock for hours. Go already! Haha, I want to get my pick in.

Becton is a freak but is he too risky? Sy mentioned a back issue today? First I heard of it but if true forget him.

Lazy comparison at best.
