High-level officials from multiple NFL teams are now preparing to do the April 23-25 draft virtually, from home, away from their team facilities, league sources tell ESPN. Awaiting final decision from NFL on an unprecedented draft.

We have been hearing for a couple weeks now that this is how the draft will be, not sure why he’s reporting this now.

Problem is Goodell has already said if even one team isn't allowed to get into their buildings, no team can and it's already old news so many states have stay at home orders in place.

There is no way conducting a draft in their war room would be considered essential so Wchefters latest "news" is redundant.

Why not just make it a mail in draft?

That way nobody contacts anyone and it makes the next year really interesting. And when the draft is done the 2021 season will be about to get rolling for camp, and we will just be getting out of quarantine.

Imagine every day waiting to see if the next teams piece of mail arrived and who they picked. Would be quite stimulating.

I loved Schefter when he was with NFLN back at his start. Once he jumped to ESPN it was a slow but noticeable transfer into a hack.

Once he grabbed the pic of JPP's medical chart, he was done to me. How one of the best sports journalists could be so obtuse when it comes to a human beings personal health information is just really disgusting.
I'll really miss the red carpet interviews/fashion show.

The draft can be done virtually. It will be the only sports thing on for months and will still get millions of viewers. I plan on watching it start to finish and I usually stop after the giants first round pick.
