...Lennon in his prime was fantastic, wasn't he? Complex compositions, odd time changes, thought provoking duplicitous lyrics, and absolutely inspired vocal performances.

I'm grateful that in the midst of all their squabbling, they held it together for another year or so - really, their studio output from 68-70 cemented their legacy.
