Very little offseason. We’ll be lucky to hit 5-7 wins. Just my honest opinion.
I agree with this. New regime new playbook a lot of new faces. Going to be hard to gel with no offseason programs and who knows what training camp will look like.
8-10 wins? While I disagree whole heartedly, I applaud your optimism
seem to forget that 31 other teams have the same limited off season that we do .
yeah and the "gel" comment above always makes me laugh. I suppose the Bucs should not even show up to play any games this year. No off season program and an old QB coming into a new system with no time to "gel" with his WRs.
We are not the only team with no off season programs. Everybody starts from the same line. I expect 7-8 wins.
But other teams do not have a new head coach so remain in the same system. And other teams that like us have a new head coach have as their head coach someone with previous experience at being an NFL head coach.
New starters at every level of the defense along with the young players we have. I think the D has potential to be a pretty good unit. The OL is still a mess and improving it has been a stated objective of the GM. Let's see if that gets done.
Judge has been a teacher, a REAL teacher, one who had to be flexible and improvise. I think, with his leadership, the Giants will be one of the better teams with "virtual learning" while waiting COVID out. No it doesn't make up for in person off season, but I think they will be more organized and further along than people will think. All teams are going to be really challenged this year. The ones that are better prepared before training camp, will likely have more success. Plus, he has such an experienced staff, once they get their hands on the players, I expect good things.
We’ve really done almost nothing to add any talent to a largely talentless roster.
I’m not an All Pro or Pro Bowl guy but this team on paper you wouldn’t think would win many games - and they don’t.
I don’t see any reason to think this team - on paper - has much of a chance.
They signed productuve abd healthy players..... Toilolo does soemthing that they don't have. Fleming is great depth and upside...resigning Mayo and signing Ebner enhances Specials. They added alot of Football Players.

Still a long way to go in the off season.
As all have stated, new coaches, new schemes, lack of impact players.

exactly... there also will be more free agents available

Yup. It's not how you start, it's how you finish, and the Giants do still have a long way to go before they're finished building their team.
I'm not a 100% sure the talent level on this team is significantly better than where it was last year at this time.
Hopefully the FA signings are good fits for what the coaches plan on doing.
That's my hope - but I can't say anything with any sort of degree of certainty.
