Was just looking at Brandt's top 150. He had Peart ranked as his 74th overall player. Here are some of the guys he had ranked below Peart.
Josh Uche, Julian Okwara, Noah Igbinoghene, Raekwon Davis, Jabari Zuniga, Robert Hunt, Malik Harrison, Terrell Lewis, Darrell Taylor, Greenard, Cushenberry, Cam Akers, Zach Moss, Brandon Jones, Amik Robertson, Akeem Davis-Gaither, Bryce Hall, Willie Gay, Antonio Gibson, Van Jefferson, Devin Duverney & Troy Dye
Pretty impressive that Brandt ranked him ahead of some of these guys. A first round pick is included on this list as well as quite a few 2nd round picks.
We dodged a bullet waiting for the 3rd to get finished with no other Centers going. Teams will have a night to rest and rearrange their value boards.Let's see if a trade takes place at the Top of the 4th. The Bungles, Foreskins, and Cowardly Lions pick before the NYG to start the 4th. Take a look at their depth charts and let's see if other teams try and make a move to get ahead of the Jints. Biadsz and Harris are still there for the taking...for now.
i still remember how much he loved bryan fucking kuehl. he really got my hopes up for that guy when i heard him talk about him.
that's not knocking gil, dude is a legend. whenever he speaks highly of a giant i always remember that for some reason
No problem with that pick. We need to give Barkley some running room and protect Jones. I mean Washington has Kerrigan, Young, and Sweat rushing the QB now. Luckily for us their quarterback sucks.
I suspect his playing hurt was a factor.
Trading Vernon with his massive contract for Zeitler was a real positive move. Zeitler at $10MM vs vernon at $19MM and low sack level for a DE seemed a really good move. Zeitler played half the year with a banged up shoulder. Don't think it required surgery. I'd still make that trade today.
USA Today draft guide had him at 71

after he had a blah year. But only a year ago, we paid out the ass for him- touted as the best OG in the league. Man I hope he comes back to form.

On top of playing hurt he had 2 scrubs playing on either side of him. The Oline is only as good as its weakest link.

Zeitler is going to be very important to them. His leadership and smarts are going to be needed with all the young OLs coming onboard.
