But BBI i expecting some first rate arseholery....
So here goes.
Can we play WR? Conversion prospect?
Jones did not throw many INTs, but maybe we figure if we put a DB out there on the field with him, it will cut down on his turn overs if he throws to our DB, instead of the opponents? /s

alum. One of the favorites down at Shrine week. Top shelf athletic ability but also shows the discipline to stay in phase, trusting his feet and balance. Might be an ideal fit for nickel but can play outside
Staying at CB... my bet would be a move to SS or nickelbacker. And yes just like Love last year when people said no no no he is a CB and won’t be move... I don’t believe it
Not twitchy or athletic enough to be a top Corner but doesn’t exhibit the ball skills or field awareness to really be a safety. Bigger body DB that doesn’t shy from run support.
for our slot position. I have stated this plenty of times before, the slot position on defense is so unique and needs to be looked at as it's own position.

Some of these reviews about what a player CAN'T do seem to be based on the player not having been put in that position to perform. With 7th rounder, I say "wait and see". Maybe the Giants will get lucky.
Is very “New England”. It seems like we basically decided we’re improving the secondary, oline and LB core or else...
Ton of bad tape from our corners last year, becoming more and more obvious some familiar names will not be on the roster next year.
Not bad to follow the NE blueprint. The problem with that is NE has a good talent baseline. So they can afford to cluster draft because they are talented enough in key areas and can afford to use their picks in that fashion. Big Blue on the other hand does not have that baseline. We need help in multiple areas plus you don't have a track record with this staff and system in place to lean on. Again NE does so you have key players, a consistent/proven system, so you can afford this approach without putting winning at risk. We have a new system and while JJ is familiar with the staff for the most part, they not worked together as a unit with these players.
No...

the write up on NFL.com, I wonder if they are going to try and convert him to LB.
No...
Then I wonder what this says about Beal and maybe Ballentine.

Says there is a lot of competition and the new HC is building his own roster..

Can a Combine snubbed nickel make change for the Jints DBs ? - ( New Window )
No, we get about 48 hours to keep hitting refresh on the undrafted free agent thread. Then we go into hibernation.

Thanks for remembering that March post.
Its my pleasure.
GO GIANTS !!!!
+1.
Elite secondary. They must be happy with the beef up front.
Short term...stop the run and force long down and distance for the secondary to handle.
Next year add rushers to complete the D.
I like the plan.
Wow, Yankee hits it out the park again! I’m now all in on this kid.....why not?

You're welcome.
You add so much to this site, it's the least I can do.
And I always do the least I can do.
