He’s got all the intangibles you want as well. The thing I like about him is his accuracy. We haven’t really had that since KCollins was QB. Eli was very erratic throwing the ball.

Do some of you guys ever fact check the shit you post??
Collins was never looked at as accurate. It was one of his main weaknesses. He had excellent arm strength.
Collins career completion % was 55.7% and he had one season with the Giants above 60%. Meanwhile, Eli's completion % was 60.3% and every season but his first two years were above 55%.
I thinking, hoping, DJ can be, will be significantly more accurate than Eli, esp. if they get a C and an OL in front of him. I don't know what career completion %% look like across the board for top QBs: I do know that Eli had consistent issues with screen and flat passes (pace and placement) and shorter/intermediate patterns, often high, behind or long. That's not bashing, that's a fair assessment, imo. His strengths (until he lost some arm strength) were in the longer patterns.
I liked Collins: he had a howitzer for an arm, but as you say, he could fire it all over the place. He was a big, husky guy and touch was not often his strong point. Whenever his name is brought up, it will always summon for me that SB, that invisible holding call that took the air out of our balloon following Dixon's return...at least I think the call on Hamilton came after that.

It would be like somebody bashing the looks of Jennifer Aniston by talking about how much of a knockout Lena Dunham is.
