He has to, by law! You're entitled! It's called "disclosure", ya dickhead! He has to show you everything, otherwise, it could be a mistrial! He has to give you a list of all of his witnesses, you can talk to all of his witnesses, he's not allowed any surprises! They didn't teach you that in law school either?
would that be the picture they'd post? Is that before the game started or after? To me it looks like after and they have all the money wrapped up and counted. Why would Baker be in that picture if he lost that money?
So, that would have to be before if they thought it was Baker. And that is weird to post a picture prior to winning.
Although tweeting about exculpatory evidence seems dopey...
In the picture has tats on his arms. Baker has no tats
Yeah, nobody is saying that is Baker. That has been cleared up. The lawyer is saying that people could think it is him and that is hurting his client. The text sounds like it is written by a highly intelligent person, lol. Dre Baker is on the Dolphins. I love the tough guy approach where he wants to get the other lawyer on the stand to cross examine him. Why do either of these guys think posting shit on twitter is the way to go?
Agreed - unless Baker has some new, crappy ink and has lost a lot of muscle tone, those are not his arms. It’s not really pertinent to the lawyer’s tweet, but what a lazy piece of speculation/insinuation by that website.
Yep. I agree with others that say even if he gets off that the NFL is still going to do something. I think the more that comes out the more we are realizing he participated in illegal gambling. He may be cleared of the armed robbery charges and such but being "not guilty" in a court doesn't mean you are innocent in the eyes of the NFL.

Well, does the defense's case hold water?
No! The defense is wrong!

If anything, this implicates that he was there. The picture isn’t him though unless he just got some tattoos and got extremely skinny. But yeah this is more telling that this friend of Dunbar is trying to get him off and make it known that he was not present.
The want any bullshit at all and they just hired Judge, they will cut him if there are any doubts, at this point they are losing a lousy player and saving money. I want the kid to be exonerated, but if there serious doubts, no way. If he gets off on technicalities or on lawyer bullshit, if the kid looked me in the eye was truely sorry and wants the opportunity to prove never again, then you move forward, but if I think he is running a game, I cut my losses and move forward, and I believe with Judge here now, you have got to do what is best for the team and what is fair to the other players, we aren't cutting LT, time is right to make a statement, we are not tolerating any bullshit.

to draft this guy in the first round, I think Baker
would have been gone already. The Giants will most likely
just let it play out now. Dunbar's attorney does sound like a piece of work though.

If people had to attest the accuracy of defamatory material they share on social media, Twitter would be out of business in a week.

My father told me the friends you have and hang out with will define you to an extent.
Looking back and looking at this situation....his words were never truer!
Now the Giants have to deal with the fallout....no matter which way this goes.....It is at the least embarrassing.

I like the Darnay Holmes quote, "You are the average of the top 5 friends you surround yourself with." Or something like that.
First off, the text does not say that anyone in the pic is Baker.
Second, let's look at this mess of a text:
"dolphins players Dre baker" - could be interpreted that texter is saying Baker plays for MIA.
"Dre baker even beat him we beat him out of 10k" - could be interpreted that Baker lost $10k.
"bout another 60k out there" - could be interpreted that Baker also lost an additional $60k
You could make the case that this text is an illiterate's way of communicating that Baker lost $70,000. No wonder his lawyer is upset.

I read that baker beating the guy.

I think Baker ought to stick with Cohen as his attorney. Shifting to the JC ambulance chaser becoming his mouthpiece doesn't feel like a smart move.
You think it's an amalgam of two names, and not DeAndre Baker?
