Yeah, same. Don't want to ruin the thread though, just isn't for me.
This is more my taste

Are far too many gems to name any the most beautiful song, I have gone to many concerts with bone chilling moments when you had goosebumps on your goosebumps. But I would not name one the best. It feels disrespectful to other moments. Sometimes there doesn't need to be a best, be grateful for each in of itself.

Those are all good.

But I'll cast my lot with Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Samantha Fish and company.

The beautiful

thing about music is that there is no wrong answer to the question of what is the most beautiful song.

As the saying goes (or is misquoted to be) music soothes the savage beast.

It can't be wrong.

Not exactly the Killswitch Engage or Parkway Drive I have been listening a lot to of late, but hey to each his own.
Everything Alison Krauss sings

This isn't shabby, either.

Even if it's out of season and not in English, you may find it worth a listen while stuck at home. You'll know the song. Incidentally, she (not Celine Dion) sang most of the wordless vocals for the Titanic soundtrack. Fact.

In it’s own right

Kenny Wayne from the SRV school of badassery & Joe B also
a badass in his own right
Same basic source material as the OP...

...but with an Old Testament flavor. One of Broadway’s most haunting melodies. I have three daughters, roughly the same age as Tzeitel, Hodel and Chava. And I really miss my dad. This one gets me in the heart.
Fiddler on the Roof: Sabbath Prayer - ( New Window )
It’s even beautiful in Yiddish...

...which is not easy. Joel Grey’s Yiddish production was a wonderful surprise. I saw it the first time because a former classmate was playing the butcher. I went back to see him as Tevye when Skybell took a week off.
