Yes, he called a play for the Skins - an end around that lost 13 yards and the Skins ended up losing a close game. Never heard about Nixon and the Giants.

Nixon was a huge football fan. He played on the freshman team at Whittier but never really got off the bench with the varsity.

Thanks. Yeah, I never heard of Nixon being fond of the Giants either. I know he lived the last years of his life in Jersey, but when I think of Nixon & football, I think of him & the Skins/George Allen.

He started going to games after he moved to NJ. I have video of him at the Giants vs. Cowboys game in 1989 sitting out in the stands.
