Celeb NYG fans?

lugnut : 5/21/2020 12:15 pm
Bored and random-ass thread, I know...

Read interview y'day with Ozark actor and NJ native Tom Pelphrey -- Wendy's brother Ben -- where he notes he is "fucking obsessed" with NYG.

Just curious what other stars we might count among our brethren? (Citations of actresses/models require pics, preferably in Giants gear.)

Ozark is great show, BTW - think there are some converts on this site(?)

Regarding Nixon
Eric from BBI : Admin : 5/21/2020 7:47 pm : link
he's on a couple of NFL Films productions talking about the Giants. One was at some banquet or speaking event where he talks about the old teams.

He's also in the 1988 NYG Highlight tape (see the 17:15 mark)...

this too...

Quote:
As vice president, Nixon made no secret of his delight in rubbing shoulders with renowned football coaches like Woody Hayes of Ohio State, whose support he credited for helping him carry Ohio in the 1960 election against John F. Kennedy. During his wilderness years as a New York lawyer, Nixon analyzed football plays with Y. A. Tittle and Andy Robustelli over cocktails at the apartment of their Giants teammate Frank Gifford.

I believe JFK & Lombardi were very close.

Funny story about the Kennedys & football: Ted Kennedy marries his first wife Joan Bennett in November '58. Later that day at the reception, Rose Kennedy looks around & sees JFK, RFK, & Ted are missing. Eventually she finds them in the kitchen watching the Army Navy game. Haha. I read that in a JFK biography. I always thought that was funny.
I doubt he actually is but take a look at

from Run DMC rocking the old school starter Giants jacket (though it wasn't old school at the time).

To be fair, I have seen them in other teams gear (Raiders?), but being from NY I would like to think they're Giants fans.

I wore that starter jacket for years in grade school. That is also DMC not Run lol

The Rock was probably a Giants fan because he knew that the Giants loved signing and drafting players from the greatest college football factory in the world...THE MIAMI HURRICANES.

And speaking of wrestling, I was surprised to learn about Arn Anderson being a Giants fan, but I've seen a photo of him wearing a Giants shirt.

Nixon was a huge football fan. I believe he played it at college in Whittier.

Nixon was a huge football fan. Awarded the 1969 College Football National Championship by presidential proclamation.

Fans from all over will rise again when we start the process of winning football once again this year. Remember, we start another run this time, we add to 4 titles already won, we have had 2 nice runs in the super bowl era, another and we start doing things other teams have never done, be nice to the first organization to have 3 runs with multiple titles with new head coach, 2 with Bill, 2 with Tom, and now ? with Judge.

I like the way you’re thinking.

Not only does bon jovi’s Music suck, he is now a pats fan. He’s addressed the disloyalty thing with a long winded explanation but I don’t wanna here it. I don’t care if bob kraft or belichick saved you’re entire family from a burning house...
Interesting, thanks
gersh : 6/2/2020 6:18 pm : link
Seems he’s in a bromance with Kraft and claims an allegiance to Belichick
But unless you or your son plays for another team, allegiances to another team that late in life is weak.
I’ve seen Clyde Frazier

I'm guessing Rooney Mara as well.
