...for having too complicated a playbook.
p.s.--And before anyone shoots back that Pat Graham wasn't fired, well, technically he wasn't, but they wouldn't've let him interview with the Giants if they weren't going to replace him anyway.
RE: And that HC coached a team that was intentionally
tanking to a better record than the Giants.
Which is crazy because the Giants supposedly have a HOF runningback that was touched by the hand of god...
The FO might have attempted to tank but the coaches and players certainly didn't.
That coach and his team did a great job last season. A team that was set up to lose, gets off to a terrible start, but has a winning record their last 9 games with a win in New England that the Patriots needed, in Foxboro
RE: And that HC coached a team that was intentionally
that the NFL has gotten too complicated for its own good. A team picks up a player and they have to sit for weeks to learn the playbook. Contrast that to any of the other team sports. Players get picked up one day and are in the lineup the next.

That's unbelievably false. No one on that staff was "tanking". They have a good HC and ascending talent, they also weren't going to be worse than Cincy anyway even if they tried.
The HC and coordinators were all from the Patriots and probably were doing it “the Patriots Way”. Except for the QB, the Dolphins probably didn’t have the same “smarts” as the Patriots’ players. Dummies don’t last long in New England (note the WRs BB has dumped quickly). It even took Fitzpatrick some time to figure out O’Shea’s offense and Fitz has seen a bunch of different offenses.
I don’t think the offense needs to be too complicated. Just needs to be flexible. It is all about creating mismatches.
This is actually giving me more confidence in Patrick Graham. Not a ton of defensive talent on that team, and clearly not a high level of support behind them, and they still had that team playing competitive ball.

So the Dolphins fired both their offensive and defensive coordinators

I was under the impression that by giving Graham the assistant head coach title, it's technically a promotion, which would prohibit the Dolphin's interference?

No, only a head coaching job is considered a promotion.

I can’t remember, would you rather we have a QB who is seeing ghosts?

Comment has absolutely nothing to do with this thread. Just looking for a reason to whine and moan like a child.
He beats the Patriots the last game of the year in a game the Patriots had to win!

what a stupid post
