with his golf duel coming up tomorrow. Him and Peyton have been going back and forth with each other. Brady's jokes have had a little more edge to them than we're normally used to (usually he goes out of his way to be as non-controversial as possible, but in recent tweets/statements to Peyton (and now Eli) he's been a little more cavalier in his humor (just as Peyton as been as well). I think it's the competitive nature of these two coming out with the "pressure" of playing a sport they've never played professionally on national TV coming up. It's certainly no douchiness here and not meant to be mean-spirited or negative in any way, I think Brady is just enjoying getting some attention for his wit a little more because he's been brazen with his trash-talking and getting some love for it. Maybe between the Howard Stern show etc. and other things in his old age he's realizing he doesn't have to be 100% a "boy scout", he can be more himself and people will respond well to it.
