Ottis became one of my all time favorite Giants during the 1989 season

And that 1990 Giants team was so enjoyable to watch, I loved their throwback-style of game. Smash mouth offense and rock solid defense. After the Super Bowl a reporter asked Parcells if the win vindicated their philosophy and he said, "it's always been vindicated, its the new stuff (the Bills K-Gun offense) that had something to prove."

I could feel it in my bones. That opening Eagles win set the tone.

That season was my introduction to football.

The first time I ever heard my father swear was when Simms got hurt against Buffalo. The joyous celebrations after the conference title game and Super Bowl seem like yesterday.

I was 10 during that season. All-time favorite Giants team.

Those 49ers and Bills playoff games are mythical to me.

3 different Defensive Game Plans for each Playoff Opponent, (Bears, Niners, and Bills). I believe the Super Bowl Game Plan is now in the NFL Hall of Fame. It bodes well for us as Judge is a disciple of BB.
