NFT: Air B & B in NJ currently allowed?

Garden State friends, what is the current situation with Air B & B in NJ? I have ashes of deceased family members we would like to scatter in the ocean down at the shore.

Air B & B site doesn't indicate anything and I can't find specific current info online. Any info would be appreciated.

Many jurisdictions make this an illegal practice. That said, be discrete. Some boat captains in New Jersey will do this, others will not. My brother-in-law is a Captain and he did spread my sisters/his wife's ashes on the season first tuna run.
