Definitely fits. You have to be really honest with you answers, and it helps if your spouse gives you input on questions that you feel are hard to accurately answer yourself.

Like Terps, not too surprising since I've was an Enterprise Application Architect for a long time. Probably why I like and respect Terps' posts!
As an IT exec, I still went my own way, and stayed close to the architecture of the applications, but giving my reports lots of freedom, and expecting the same freedom from my managers (just as described). Now I'm the Head of Tech at startup, which is still very much in the architect mold.

Actually, two of the best companies as far as culture are concerned in my area both use it in their hiring process. I'm an ENTP and Maverick. There have been studies done in tech and you might as well not hire people in my role unless they test for Promoter or Maverick. Seems to be a pretty strong indicator of success.

Success has nothing to do with personalty......they are many other driving factors....the info along with previous employment, will sort out who belongs where.
I was an ESTJ, which didn’t surprise me since it’s one of the more prevalent marker for military. However, I’m almost certain that it has changed since then as I’ve become less rigid and traditional and have become far far more liberal in my views (as well as becoming a father).
