A lot of things still have to happen. Remember there are players all over the country. They need to get there (some may not be comfortable with flying yet).
There has to be established guidelines and testing schedules that need to be approved by both the League and Players association.
Plus according to the agreement June mini camp cant be later than June 27th. That may be too soon to get everything in place. Teams do not even have full capacity with no players and coaches yet.
I do not expect any football till Summer camp in July.
the most likely course of action is the NFL and the players agreeing to push back mandatory mini camps and allow training camps to open a week early. gives them another 6 weeks to get set up. Would require negotiation but its in both parties best interest.

the virus is driving the decisions. Once they figure out how 100+ individuals can be in close quarters with each other, with no protective equipment, and virtually eliminate the chance for transmission of the virus, we will be good to go. The media, as pathetic as they are, doesn’t control that.

Dave, I know ... and I really appreciate the complexity of the problem facing both the league and the teams ... but I also know every swinging dick in the media, on all sides are going to offer an opinion on whatever decisions ... looking for clicks and the inevitable ‘ i told you so’s’. Virtually the entire fourth estate is a nightmare these days.

If you want to have a REAL conversation then maybe that viewpoint might change. Read Edward Bernays Propaganda. You will realize what's going on.
