When the Giants win, the last thing I think about as a Giant fan are the jets. Same with the Yankees-the mets are not even in my mental stratosphere when the Yankees win.
If you’re a Met or Jet fan (obviously not many Jet fans here), you may disagree, but there’s a little brother hatred of that other team no matter what. May not be you in particular but it’s there amongst the fan bases. When the Mets win, half the battle is “f the Yankees, we won!”
If there were 64 straight hours of David Wright programs, I couldn’t care less. More power to em. Because it’s jeter it will get picked apart. Overrated in certain respects? Maybe, sure. Hall of fame? Absolutely.
