When gyms were open, I pretty much went every day. I would try to do different muscle groups not doing the same thing two days in a row, Now, I walk every day about 5-6 miles. I also do a single set of push-ups and a 90 second plank and a long set of bicep curls every day with light weights (not at the same time). I’ve lost some serious weight but it’s probably more related to not eating out. My question is, is it a mistake to do the pushups, planks, curls every day or should I rest some days like at the gym. I’m guessing walking every day is ok. Time is not an issue, I just don’t have very much equipment at home.
I would think any body weight exercises in moderation are fine to do every day.
It’s when you go heavy or high volume that you need to rest.
I would recommend a three day routine for working out if you don’t want to do it more than that. There are tons of body weight workouts for all levels out there to discover. A three round workout of your described routine of pushups, planks, and curls would do far more than a single set.
Try Tabata workouts if your health allows it. Just Google it, and you’ll get some good ideas.

On weekends I rest, except for the 10,000 ft hikes in the mountains or the three hours hikes in the desert here in Las Vegas.
My wife says I look like Jack LaLane (sp?) but this Covid shit has given me a Covid belly!
5'9"...185...I could be 175, but I like my daily dose(es) of Jamison's!
God bless the both of you.
