Saw it for the first time a couple years back. Someone uploaded it on YouTube. My jaw dropped at all the 90s pros I cut my eyeteeth as a sports fan telling the world they blew all their millions. I just shook my head

Probably too many hangers on for the party, party instead of solid friends. Plus a lot of them didn’t listen to good advice when they got it probably.
Hands down. Absolutely have obsessed over the draft my entire life and that is by far the best documentary ever produced to shed light on the behind the scenes of the draft.
Thought it was really unique in telling a day I remember so well from my childhood. Game 5 of the Knicks playoffs being interrupted by the chase, Rangers ticker tape parade (my dad a huge Rangers fan and me, a sour Devils fan) the start of the US hosted World cup personally. As well as Palmer retiring and Griffey Jr tying Ruth's record

never saw that 30 for 30 but I sure remember that day!
The Fab 5 wasn't actually a 30 for 30, I dont think
The Two Bills is my runaway winner, although I've enjoyed many others like Pony Excess, The Best That Never Was (Marcus Dupree), Guru of Go (Loyola Marymount), Once Brothers (Vlade Divac/Drazen Petrovic), Kings Ransom (Gretzky trade).
This Magic Moment about the 90’s Orlando Magic. That team could have been a dynasty and they lowballed Shaq.
I watched it last night on your recommendation. Really enjoyed it as an interesting potential dynasty that never was and also as a nostalgic blast from the past when I was 10 years old and the NBA was king. I forgot how good Penny Hardaway was before his injury. And not backing up a dump truck of cash for a 23/24 year old Shaq is just... I don’t even know what to say.

That was a good one. I had forgotten about the poll in the Orlando newspaper where something like 85% said Shaq wasn't worth it. WTF?

Glad you enjoyed it. The Magic messed up big time with how they handled Shaq. I think that was around the time guys started getting the mega deals and they thought he would sign for a home town discount type deal. With him in the middle, Penny, Horace Grant, and all of those three shooters like Dennis Scott and Nick Anderson they were loaded. Just needed to keep them together.
Those of us of a certain age from a certain place will say...
... Without Bias. Such a waste. I was a couple of years gone from Md the day he died but every detail about where I was when I found out is seared in my memory. My youngest brother was there at the time and we’ve been spending a bit of time talking about the events of that terrible day.
The 30 for 30 does a great job of capturing all of it.

I also liked The U and Catholics vs. Convicts. Pony Express was good too.

And traded Chris Webber. Shaq and Webber on the same team, can you imagine?
I might be biased because he's one of my favorite athletes of all time, but i thought it was amazing.
