With the latest spike around the country I think it will force the league to shut down. Its not magically going to go away in a month. the thing is that Corona Virus has been around for a long time and for the most part the virus was not serious until this recent strain. I dont think the testing differentiates between the 2 strains. So the question is, how many of the people that have been diagnosed with COVID 19 have the new and very powerful form and how many have the one that has been around for decades and was not considered serious?

Where did you read or hear this. If true it’s rather significant and puts a totally different perspective on the number of cases being reported.
Other numberS to consider with the number of cases are those requiring hospitalization and deaths. Seems to me those surely impact how we learn to live with this virus as opposed to retreating rom it.
As to sports the PGA, albeit with easier circumstances is finding a way to play on, encouraging. Very interested to see how MLB and NBA manage it going forward
Malcom Jenkins sure didn't sound too enthusiastic from a self-preservation and family preservation standpoint and I don't blame him. And he's a vet who has made millions. If you're in your prime and haven't gotten that big deal yet then risking long term lung damage is something to consider.
may or may not be a season, but I wouldn't read too much into this game not being played.
With each team only having 2 preseason games, it was unlikely they would start the preseason early for the HOF game.
