Will actually be attending games. The networks DO NOT want there to be shots of the stands with no fans. I'm sure they'll be social distancing rules in effect when/if the stadiums are open to the public.

At least in NY/NJ, I'd be stunned if there are fans in attendance for 2020.
This seems to be a direct response to COVID for this year, but likely
something that will stick beyond this year. As BamaBkue points out, it stinks of hypocrisy. They will claim this is to reduce costs to provide a better product to fans, but will never result in reducing any costs to fans.
