Dead at 80.

Obviously best well known for building up Washington's OL, 'The Hogs'.

He was a disaster as a head coach with the Cards, though that seems to be the norm with that franchise throughout the years. I forgot he had coached the Raiders for a year before being let go.

One of the most respect OL coaches. He was Earl Campbell's OL coach (Houston) as well which I didn't even know.

He actually did a pretty good job with the Raiders. Some guys aren't meant to be the head man. Ask Bill Arnsparger, Dave Wannstadt and a slew of others.

I remember his Big Nickel defense always gave the Giant offense fits. He would play a nickel package with an extra strong safety on the strong side over the tight end.
