An Article speculated about reduced preseason rosters.

It was about the Vikings and said that the league may reduce preseason roster size due to limited preseason games and training time. It stated that the Vikings have had success in the past with UDFAs and may release several draft picks, most significantly in the 7th rd. If true, wondering how this will affect the Giants.
I'm in the minority, I believe.

I enjoy the 4 preseason games. Football is unlike most things. You can't simulate real game action. Cutting down preseason games is going to have a negative impact on young kids. One, they'll get less of an opportunity. Two, they'll get less experience. We already saw the negative effect that less practice time had on the NFL and practice rules (particularly tackling). The NFL is going to really have to adapt. I think this makes it much more difficult on QBs. Teams are going to have to really simplify the playbooks when it comes to most. I don't think it is a shock that a lot of the young QBs that are having success are running QBs. But that only takes you so far and these running QBs for the most part get injured. Russell Wilson is the exception.
I used to love the preseason after spending a week

up at camp. You'd have the paper rosters with all the players that you watched during the week and you could see them in real game action and root for your favorites. we were big Micheal Jennings fans one year.

Now that camp is different (and I don't go) it doesn't hold nearly the same interest.
The article pointed out that the preseason limits reduce the

Coaches and players don't seem to want 4 preseason games. But, I agree that it isn't the smartest thing for the players. I think the NFL will be going to a 17 or 18 game schedule where they get paid more.
