+1, that movie never gets old. Still can’t believe how real they made that shark look for a movie made in the 70’s.
Agree, so awesome, side note last year on a trip to Martha's Vineyard my kids wanted to jump off the Jaws bridge. So we all did, but I was still a little uneasy about it, lol. Been to Martha's Vineyard probably two dozen times, never thought of jumping off the bridge until my 11 year old daughter "forces" me to. It was a cool thing to do, glad I did it.
I watched the movie this year and checked out that scene and it's a little eerie.

Lol, that would have freaked me out as well. That’s cool that you did it though.
I don't think you appreciate the gut reaction people have to these things...Martin, It's all psychological. You yell 'Barracuda,' everybody says 'Huh? What?' You yell 'Shark,' we've got a panic on our hands on the Fourth of July.
Was a staple of my US History classes. They'd always complain about the music but would ask if they could sit in my class to watch the next year! It was Hamilton before there was Hamilton!
Watching now - TCM
too soon?
I know nothing about military history aside from Vietnam, which I studied well.
I found the story of Midway fascinating.
Information, or the lack of it, were so key to the outcome.

Although I think Hamilton will have to be added to my tradition
There’s a clinical name for it. Honey?
Drowning.
