There was a thread on this subject a while ago. Looks like Duggan managed to find a player for every number 1-99.

I remember cuz couple people thought Tiki Barber wore 20.

I don't have a subscription to The Athletic, but I would be curious to see who's at neun.

the best (which usually has an objective winner) and who you think of when you think of a number (and this is subjective).

Personally, I have many players who own a number in my mind who aren't remotely the best players for that number. That is a more fun exercise also.

I wanted Jones to get that number because of the Duke connection plus it was his college # but he apparently was talked out of it
