Another one of those on the team now.
Just fast enough,

but the cutting and stopping, then acceleration were phenomenal. Miss him.

He and Hakeem Nicks were a special pair.

I'd flip #1 and #2 in that sequence.
Recall them all very well. For about 2+ years there

this guy had more memorable plays at WR than anybody.

The one where he slide-steps between to Eagles who bang into each each other and they knock themselves out while he runs for the TD is a like a cartoon.
weird how many great

moments I actually forget.
and Victor Cruz was just loved by so many fans, I don't recall any bad press on him at all.
He so reminds me ..of me ... when I was young.

Both the play and the dancing ... seriously, he was fun to watch.
Those Giants offenses were good

Nicks/Cruz/Manningham -Eli- Bradshaw/Jacobs - a decent OL

I miss Sundays when I knew the Giants were going to win games.
Giants have lost

I was thinking the same thing.

The current #1 in the video was a more athletic catch, but the #2 catch should be #1 because is was FAR more meaningful. It was a game-changing catch in an incredibly important game.
that was great - thanks for posting it.

You tend to forget how outstanding Cruz was.

I also like the one where the two Eagles collide.
I remembered most of those plays
Gordo : 7/9/2020 9:15 am : link
but forgot the one against the Saints in 2016. That set up the game winning field goal. He got a raw deal here, would have loved to have him for another season. I think he still had some left in the tank, and in 2017 our WRs were decimated by injuries.

That is what his route running was all about and how he was able to get open. That injury took that all away from him.

What raw deal? He was pretty finished by the 2016 season and it showed.
He and Nicks were so fun to watch
