arriving from the various states that NY and NJ are otherwise requiring quarantines for. Makes life a little easier for these guys. link - ( New Window )
I agree, but it's not even that. Considering how much clustering that they will be doing, these would be the people who are the most "dangerous" and would be the ones you actually would most want to quarantine. Although, I suppose if they do frequent testing they could somewhat mitigate the risk.
b/c I'd love to have sports back, the fact these players are going to get multiple tests and priority results means regular folks are going to have to wait longer for results and I'm a bit angry about that.

Not if they are doing the test themselves. I'd think the league is going to handle the testing.

I second that. My sister got tested in IL last Friday & still has not gotten her results.

in new york at least we arent even using the amount of testing we can do
The Jockeys at Monmouth Park do not have to quarantine either. The reason given was because 'it's business'. Hopefully that wasn't a political statement.

That’s correct. Technically, “business travel” is exempt from the suggested quarantine, and has been since the order was put in place. So it’s not much of a stretch to see how NFL players reporting to camp, or jockeys coming in to race at Monmouth, would fall into that category.
I don’t think this is much more than an acknowledgement of the conditions to the order, not some sort of crony-ish special exemption.

This is correct. People traveling in a business capacity are exempt, and have been. This is why people like truck drivers do not have to quarantine.

If somehow they manage to stay virus free an play football. I doubt that will happen though.

2 - It would be impossible to conduct their business if it wasn't waived.
Been saying it for weeks. Nothing makes sense. This adds to it.
Yup, the exceptions for famous people really piss me off. Such a double standard.
