NFT: Anybody familiar with locast.org?

I am thinking of getting SlingTv, was going to get
youtubetv, but they jacked up their prices.
Apparently this non-profit org. (locast) offers local channels like FOX and ABC.
Sling provides NBC, but not the others. Did anybody use locast for local channels, just curious how that works?

The free version will interrupt every so often to remind you that you're being a cheapskate. I think it's $5/ month for the ad-less version.

It definitely has quirks but it's a pretty nice application.

to watch the 100 on the CW before my service picked that station up. It does kick you to an ad every 15 minutes or so for the free version.

My son would just exit the app at a commercial and then log back in to avoid the ad happening in the middle of his show.
