i was heartbroken when my football career was over, i cant imagine how terrible this is for them. I feel bad for all these student athletes that missed out this past spring and not this upcoming fall.
might as well consolidate all the small football conferences

or even March Madness without any non-conference play? Are the power 5 conferences just planning on running a conference season and the conference title in football/basketball will be the highest achievement possible?

And are free to pursue competition. Would be fun to see Army/Navy football game in a small stadium with just the students in attendance.

In the 19th century they were even playing 3x a year... and the last year they didnt play was 1896
