This game doesn't get a whole lot of mention on here but I thought this was an underrated win in the 2007 run. A road win vs Philly? What?
I was at this game and remember it clear as day.
Another underrated moment in time was when the Giants forced a fumble on Westbrook. He never ever fumbled (especially against the Giants) and I remember having to do a double take.
Plaxico was a complete monster in this game. I just remember him finding open spaces all over the field against the Philly defense and they still couldn't figure him out. He had a nice YAC (think it went for 40 yards) and he had one touchdown.
On the last drive (lol) Madison was like wrestling with Westbrook and the refs didn't see it. Wasted so much time. 57 yard FG attempt. Looked like he had the distance but BONG!
Philly fans are such losers. 13 years ago and that was the last year the Giants got 2 wins in one season against those boners. I can't believe it.
Yep. His height. His speed. Even when they blitzed, he got his hands on the ball. The touchdown in this game Jim Johnson sent his guys and it was a nice slant across the middle.
Until they gave him that handgun for his birthday.
The previous week was a tough game on the road vs the always redoubtable Rex Grossman, who was the Bears QB at the time.
That comeback showed a lot to me. I thought wow, usually in these predicaments the Giants would blow this but they kept winning close games. Two quiet, early December, road wins helped spring the Giants to the playoffs in 2007.
Lol remember his "rumble" on the Giants sideline in 2006?

Happy bday fuck face. Miss that FG and go blow out your bday candles.

Or that guy who starts shit and then you hold him back and he does the "I'm just an innocent, little, cuddly, panda bear. Don't hurt me."
Then he's immediately throwing fists around again
"I'm just a harmless kicker."
