MLB seems to move at a glacier pace on things. I assume they will make up some of the Philly games next mon-tues, but no one seems in any kind of hurry.
Shocking they arent playing a DH today either (nor that anyone thought of switching this series two days ago when it was obvious PHL and MIA would be paused for a bit)
Who should be playing DH today? The Yanks are not playing the Phillies, which I could see the need to play a DH. Playing a DH against the Orioles makes no sense.
RE: any idea why they havent adjusted next week's schedule yet?

.
I think they want to wait a couple days with the Marlins situation. Also, the Phillies are kind of in an incubation mode.
I would guess by Friday, you will hear something on the schedule. They have to let teams know.
No fans attending games makes a huge difference in scheduling these games. No way could they have switched tonight’s game from home opener to playing n Baltimore.

Hopefully the friendly confines of Camden Yards gets Gardy going.
I know it's only been a few games but with this short season there's not much time to let guys work out the kinks. As Yogi would say, it's getting late, early.
I'm thinking Miggy is going to push him for ab's and could see a straight platoon in LF before long.
that there is no way to assess anyone on the team at this point.
I want to see blood in Baltimore.
I pretty much agree with that but also we should agree players on the team shouldn't be given the same long leash as in other years. Especially since the Yanks have such quality depth they can give an opportunity to.
I think there's a sense of urgency to this season, and every single game is more important than games in a normal 162 game season.
But I wonder if MLB has social distancing rules in place for Managers arguing with umpires.
I have to think that an Earl Weaver/Billy Marting style confrontation, with the manager and ump essentially spitting in each other's faces would be a bad idea for all concerned.
Remember all the talk about how many batting titles Cano was going to win? Problem was, he would swing at everything. Gary has that same problem without the bat-on-ball skills robbie had/has.

And now that I opened my mouth, watch them go out and hammer Cole tonight...

Yet they hammered the Red Sox 2 of 3 opening weekend. Although the Sox staff is a shell of what it was 2 years ago

It literally reads like a AAA lineup.

Well that'd be a shame.
