I may be putting my head in the lions mouth with this but I see Juan Soto has finally been cleared to play.
"Per the report, Soto has registered six negative tests — three from official league tests and three from team-administered tests. He has yet to string together two negatives that qualify to clear him for activation. Putting aside the phenom’s own situation, it’s yet another reminder that testing for the virus is anything but a foolproof means of ascertaining an infection."
He has finally had consecutive negative tests and been cleared.
Makes me wonder if the CDC is watching what is happening in pro sports regarding covid testing. Pro sports is basically performing their own case study regarding the accuracy of the testing.
And to answer another question, if you get 8 positive tests, you are only counted once for COVID test reports.
The antibody test is supposed to be less accurate than the rapid test. The antibody test is for past infection.
And to answer another question, if you get 8 positive tests, you are only counted once for COVID test reports.
FWIW, some states were only counting positives once, but counting negatives each time. Not sure if that is still an ongoing practice or not.
Unless there's a 10 second test that can be mass produced for cheap I don't see it is being realistic for the general public.
Major decisions within families employers etc. are being made on the basis of these results.
It absolutely does. My wife's hospital has switched to saliva even knowing it has a horrendous false positive rate.
