I randomly found a Tim Tebow Mets jersey floating in the the Potomac River last weekend. The owner was nowhere to be found so I still have it.

Barry Sanders should definitely be on the list. He was outstanding at Oklahoma.

Also maybe Billy Simms?
Charles Woodson was pretty damn good in college

100%
Nice list
Earl the goat : 7/30/2020 4:20 pm : link
But Jesus. Earl Campbell not on list? Got to be there
Second Charles Woodson
Rico : 7/30/2020 4:27 pm : link
He won a national title for Michigan and became the only defensive player to win the Heisman.
Tony Dorsett
bluepepper : 7/30/2020 4:36 pm : link
gotta be there if you're basing it on entire college career.

At least equal of Archie Griffin who was great but was sort of gifted his second Heisman. Dorsett and Ricky Bell of USC both deserved it more that year.

Dorsett over Campbell in my book because Ear had lots of injuries and only had one great year.

Vince Young
Osi Osi Osi OyOyOy : 7/30/2020 4:52 pm : link
best college performances I've ever seen were his 2 Rose Bowl wins.
Tommie Frazier
10thAve : 7/30/2020 8:51 pm : link
belongs on our near that list.
Tony Mandarich
Milton : 7/31/2020 10:40 am : link
Ed Marinaro
Jim Punkett

*State ;)
It's funny because when I think of the top players in CFB history,
Anakim : 7/31/2020 11:46 am : link
unlike any other sport or league I immediately think of the exciting ones rather than the great ones.

The exciting ones like Reggie Bush, Vince Young, Matt Leinart, Tim Tebow, Ricky Williams, Saquon Barkley, Michael Vick...
Suh deserves to be mentioned
Osi Osi Osi OyOyOy : 7/31/2020 11:50 am : link
as the best college defensive player in recent memory.
Vince Young
BrianLeonard23 : 7/31/2020 6:23 pm : link
Tops for me. Slaying that USC dragon in amazingly dramatic fashion.
