Sure. These are a lot of fun.
As for this one, BBI'ers may enjoy the intro in particular when we discuss asshats!
We will do it again soon, especially when you bring yourself to look at this seasons schedule, it ever played!
Yes, the BBI'ers will definitely enjoy the asshat bit.

It was fun. After it was over, I went into the living room and my wife said, "You sound like you had fun!"
- Debating Saquon and DJ picks
- Gettleman questionable / risky decisions
- Continued worries on OL in a coronavirus year
- Is WR group strong enough
- Concerns on Mara leadership
well done.
Thanks!

Thanks! Nice summary!
After I got warmed up. (grin)
Just glad football is back.
Thanks!!
Thanks! Over the years... many... but this was my first in a couple of years. In 2018, I did a regular bit with the YES Network (Chris Shearn). In 2011-2013, I did another regular series with YES Network (Joe Calo).
Going way back, John McDevitt and I did a long-running "BBI Live Online". We did NOT have a big audience but John got incredible guests, including:
Pat Hanlon (2)
Mike Garafolo (5)
Danny Clark
Stephen Baker
Tom Rock
Ralph Vacchiano (3)
Terrell Thomas
Leonard Marshall
Bob Papa
Bart Oates
Bob Glauber
Harry Carson
Colin Linday (2)
D.J. Ware
Dave Tollefson
Jerry Reese
Patti Traina (2)
Ohm Youngmisuk (2)
Steve Smith
Paul Dottino
Phil Simms
Amani Toomer
Mark Collins
Liz Matthews
Kevin Boss
David Diehl
Corey Webster
Thanks.
We are just starting out and it is going really well. I have always been a big fan of this site and Eric, so it was a boon for us to have him on. I think the 3 of us had a blast, like 3 guys talking at a bar, really deep diving into the Giants, which is what we want our podcast to be. We drop an episode every 2 weeks, will go to every week during the season.

I take a long walk every day and listen to lots of podcasts especially Giants. I had never heard of this one before and it was really good and you were an outstanding guest. Very interesting all the way thru. Have you been a guest on others? For what this is worth, I listened to it on Apple podcasts.

Nice job Pete. It was like 3 Giants fans sitting down and shooting the s***, which is what you look for. And Eric is always smooth on the air!

My listeners have loved him as have the 2 TV producers that we have guiding us.
I have a vague recollection that Cleveland offered the Giants both their second round picks to move from #4 to #2 to take Barkley.
Really enjoyed it, I subscribed to the pod so looking forward to the new episodes. Good stuff all around!

I have heard from a very reliable source, never posted here, because it was 2nd hand, that Denver tried to engage Gettleman to move past the Jets for Darnold. Who knows what they were offering, but as Eric said, it is a good argument- Barkley best player from that draft vs. replenishing the team a bit.

True blue - thanks very much, I fixed the audio as much as I could and we are working through that, very good feedback. It has been a struggle a bit, you should have heard the first few.

It’s what needed to be pursued. The third year of the restructuring process looks like it needs a few more years.

My argument has consistently been against drafting Barkley and trading down to replenish the roster a bit, which was to the blame of Reese. Eric presented a compelling other side to the argument, but for me they can be 4-12 with our without Barkley.
However the roster clearly didn't have good core pieces and Eli could no longer carry anybody. Thus the RB shelf-life/supply debate and whether either a trade-down or options at a different position lead to more value.
