Saquon, Engram, AB, Tate, Shepard and Slayton would be super elite. We could attack any defense in all of football with AB but right now if we lose one of Shep, Slay or Tate (which I believe is almost likely, i mean you know Engram will get hurt...) we are going to be back to being average to below average at the WR position putting alot of pressure on Daniel like he faced last year down a bunch of skills guys week to week...
during AB's short stint in NE... he spoke highly of him in interviews at the time. I agree he is a mess but if he can help us win, I would bring him on is all...
was one of the greatest in NFL history, the 80s were a different time. Now, you don't have to saddle yourself with idiots, especially when they're only available for half a season. The Giants were also a team full of high profile veteran players and coaching leadership.

Lol. Position coach speaking highly of one of his players is not noteworthy. What is noteworthy is a first round pick in his second year was asked not to participate in the offseason program due to allegations right now. Brown is not coming here.
I'm saying having him helps us more than it can hurt us... not like you'd have to give him big guaranteed money...
No way to prove that. You don't bring in guys like AB when, at the very least, you are trying to get each player to hold themselves accountable for simple things like following COVID protocols - protocols you know AB is going to break.
I wouldn't trust AB to look both ways before crossing the street, I sure as fuck wouldn't let him near a program that has been trying to go through a massive change in character/accountability (let alone trying to establish winning again).
in the NFL. Maybe #1. But, he might be the biggest headache in the league. More of an annoyance than ODB.
If Gettleman was willing to dump Beckham, despite his immense talent and history of great production here, then it's just not realistic to think he'd turn around and take a look at AB, especially with a new coach.
Some team will take a shot at AB at some point, and there's incredible upside to doing that. I just hope it's not an NFC East team.
of individuals we sign, but the type of headache AB is, is fundamentally bad for a football team. He isn't even a criminal. Just a total distraction and headcase to the point where it destroys the locker room.
LT was a off field disaster, but he was always there for his team
, a good teammate, and ready to help win. AB is only there for himself, a locker room cancer, and creates havoc and team dissension with all his antics.
Lawrence Taylor was a knucklehead...

in loving the knuckleheads.

There are different types of knuckleheads. They aren't in the same league.
Apples and oranges.

It's the other 164.5 hours of the week that are the problem.

There also might not even be eight games.
No to Clowney as well for the reason JonC said: too much money.
I think AB would love coming to NY and be on his best behavior (albeit his “best” is still not that good)

I’ve heard that before. Sounds nice until we read about him going to a strip club during curfew and smacking a stripper in the face.
I used to be a fan of his but he’s a fucking loser.
Completely different character.
